1. Which App This Is About
This page explains how to delete the game account for Memoria Land on iOS and Android. The provider is Andre Neubert, Mainz, Germany (contact: contact@andreneubert.com). Further provider details are available in the Impressum.
Deletion is free of charge and is available for guest accounts and accounts linked to Google or Apple. There are two ways to request it.
2. Option 1: Delete in the App
- Open Memoria Land.
- Open Settings from the main menu.
- Choose “Delete account”.
- Confirm both safety prompts.
The server deletion then begins. After the server confirms it, the app resets the active sign-in state and guest identifier stored on that device. Device-specific settings and individual local progress copies may remain; you can remove all local app data through the operating-system settings or by uninstalling the app. The deleted game account cannot be restored through the app.
3. Option 2: Request Deletion by Email
If you have uninstalled the app or no longer have access to your device, email contact@andreneubert.com with the subject “Delete Memoria Land account”.
If available, include your friend code or game-account identifier. A display name can help with the search but is not unique. To prevent unauthorised deletion, additional proof that the account belongs to you may be requested. Never send a password, full store receipt or payment details by email. Requests are normally completed within 30 days, and you will receive confirmation.
4. What Is Deleted
Deletion removes the active game account and data that is no longer needed for an overriding purpose, including:
- the cloud save and campaign or event progress,
- coins, XP, diamonds, inventory, unlocked items and cosmetics,
- the display name and public player profile,
- trophies, league standing, achievements and leaderboard entry,
- current friends, friend requests and social data, and
- the game-account link to Google or Apple.
The direct association between the active game account and the purchase ledger is also removed. Deleting Memoria Land does not delete your Google or Apple account or the purchase history that the app store holds independently.
5. What May Remain
Limited information may remain where it is still required for a specific purpose:
- Pseudonymous purchase records: protected representations of the transaction and game-account identifiers, together with product, store, status, relevant timestamps and operational record information. These records help prevent duplicate redemption, handle refunds or revocations and resolve purchase disputes. They contain no card, bank or billing-address data and no permanently stored raw receipt. Removal of the direct account binding does not automatically make the remaining record anonymous.
- Moderation and safety records: reports, notes and decision records may be retained where necessary to finish a case, document a decision, identify repeated abuse, protect other players or establish or defend legal claims. A resolved report is not automatically removed by account deletion where it also concerns another person or a record still needed for those purposes. Access is restricted. Once the purpose no longer applies, the information must be deleted or anonymised through moderation administration. Active account restrictions end when the account is deleted.
- Tournament and opponent match data: a tournament record may remain until the tournament has ended. Seven days after the end it becomes eligible for deletion and is removed during the next technical tournament-maintenance pass. Entries containing your name and account identifier may also remain in an opponent's match history, which is limited to 50 entries, until replaced by newer matches or deleted with that opponent's account.
- Technical logs: IP addresses and technical connection, error or security information may remain until no longer required for operation or fault diagnosis, in particular as part of technical maintenance; there is currently no fixed calendar retention period for regular game-server logs. Information relating to a specific security incident may be kept until that incident has been resolved. Logs created when you open this page follow the periods stated in the Privacy Policy.
- Backups: deleted game data may remain in access-restricted production database backups for up to seven days. Backups are used only to restore the service after a technical incident, not to restore a deleted account in normal operation. If a backup is restored, deletion requirements are applied again.
- Privacy-request records: correspondence and evidence needed to document that the deletion request was handled correctly may be retained for as long as necessary for that purpose.
These remaining records continue to be protected by the GDPR and your applicable rights. More detail is provided in the Privacy Policy.
6. Important: Effect on Purchases and Progress
Please read this section before deleting your account.
- Diamonds are deleted with the account. Purchased diamonds form part of your game-account balance; a new account starts without that balance. Statutory rights and the store's refund rules remain unaffected.
- Coins, XP, unlocks and progress are lost as well. They cannot be restored through the deleted game account.
- “The Insect Meadow” can normally be restored once. This permanent purchase remains recorded by your store account. After account deletion, you can normally unlock it once for a new game account through “Restore purchases”, provided that you use the same store account and the store records and technical evidence allow it.
- Only switching devices? Do not delete your account. Link it to Google or Apple in the settings and use that sign-in on the new device.
A guest account relies on locally stored credentials. Depending on your operating-system and backup settings, local data may be included in a device backup and restored later, but this is not a reliable account-recovery method. Linking to Google or Apple is the supported recovery path.
7. Local Copies and Uninstalling
Deleting the game account in the app resets the active sign-in state and guest identifier on the device used for deletion after the server confirms success. It does not necessarily remove all device settings or local progress copies; you can remove those through the operating-system app-data settings or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling the app by itself does not delete the server account. Operating-system backups may retain a temporary copy of local app data according to your device and backup settings.
